The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games brings a whole host of opportunities for people across the entire West Midlands and in the Black Country we recognise that through the Games we can address wider social issues that significantly impact on people’s abilities to lead healthy active lives.
The Black Country was successful in securing Commonwealth Active Communities funding (from Sport England, National Lottery) to support the creation of a wide range of opportunities to help people get active in their local streets and parks across the Black Country.
