Description

This dataset, produced by ONS on a quarterly basis as part of the Annual Population Survey, provides data for the 2019 calendar year across the following indicators;

  • Employment Rate: Residents aged 16-64 – this refers to the proportion of working age residents who are in employment
  • Unemployment Rate: Residents aged 16-64 – this refers to the proportion of working age residents who are economically active but not in employment
  • % with NVQ Level 4+: Residents aged 16-64 – this refers to the proportion of working age residents who are qualified to NVQ Level 4 or above. This is equivalent to undergraduate degree level.
  • % with no qualifications: Residents aged 16-64 – this refers to the proportion of working age residents with no qualifications.
