Insight is at the heart of what we do – our priority wards were identified using a series of metrics that combine known levels of inactivity with deprivation and demographic information to come up with a ranking system that allows us to understand the areas in most need of support. However, we don’t just work in these 8 areas. Our officers are collating knowledge on a daily basis, sometimes formally through consultation but also less formally, through small pieces of information acquired at meetings, or through conversations about what does and doesn’t work in certain areas.
These briefings are designed to collate all of that information every quarter for each of our four thematic areas. They’ll summarise all of our learnings, any new data that has been uploaded onto the hub and any key pieces of research (national or local) that are of relevance.
