We are currently recruiting for two positions at Active Black Country (click the job title links for further details):
Local Partnership Lead Officer (Communities)
Salary c. £33,000 p.a dependent on experience
Reporting to the Active Black Country Director, the position will play a key role in the development of the Sport and Physical Activity strategies for our Communities theme ensuring it aligns with our wider framework and articulates our approach and offer to our partners and stakeholders. The post holder will need to be recognised and utilised as the local expert demonstrating an ability to understand, articulate and evidence the needs, demographics and socio economic composition of the of the Local Authority in which they are based. In addition the role will operate as Line Manager to the Programme Co-ordinator to ensure the effective delivery of the partnership’s education, club and workplace programmes.
Senior Local Partnership Lead Officer
Salary c £37 - £38,000 dependent on experience
Reporting to the Active Black Country Director this role’s main focus is to identify and engage with a range of stakeholders to develop collaborative working relationships across the areas of Economic, Health and Wellbeing, Regeneration and Community to understand, inform and influence agendas, supporting the growth of physical activity and sport across the Black Country. Operating as Line Manager to the Education and Workforce, Skills and Employment Local Partnership Officers, the post holder will also take the lead in the development of a Health and Wellbeing strategy for the partnership.
