As a Trustee of TastEd and we offer workshops for teachers to use in schools and even at home. Gurpinder is a Senior Lecturer in Education and Inclusion Studies, based in the Institute of Education (IoE) at University of Wolverhampton. Gurpinder is passionate about school food and conducts research on school dining halls in the Midlands. He has published two books Schools, Food and Social Learning (2019) and Schools, Space and Culinary Capital (2021). Gurpinder is an advocate for schooling food and would be happy to visit schools and community centres to engage with outreach activities. He is also part of the School Food APPG and lives with his young family in Walsall, West Midlands. He holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and is on the DBS update service.
