LGBTQ+

We know we can do more to encourage more lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community to take part in sport and activity.

There have been pockets of excellent work that highlight the great benefits of engaging in the workforce, coaching and volunteering but this is one section of our community that we need to explore further.

We need to do more to inform organisations and stakeholders of inclusive support for the LGBT Community. ABC will theme an upcoming Inclusion and Diversity forum around LGBT practices to build understanding and awareness in relation to Sport and physical activity across the Black Country.

If you are a specialist provider and would like to contribute to our work in this area then please get in touch with Dan Allen on Daniel_allen@blackcountryconsortium.co.uk.
