VACANCY: Strategic Communications Lead
Active Black Country is seeking to appoint a Strategic Communications Lead.
Our partnership works to an established vision of ‘A future Black Country where all ages, abilities and backgrounds are able to be active, move more and play sport’.
Central to realising this vision is the creation of a strong network of partnerships who are united in a shared purpose to tackle physical inactivity. To support this we wish to appoint an experienced & proactive communication expert to grow and develop the partnership’s communications & advocacy work.
Our work is varied & great fun. The post holder will join us at a really exciting time as we are growing our work across the areas of Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall & Wolverhampton. The post holder will play a key role in leading our communications to unite Black Country partners to tackling physical inactivity, and working with our Director of Impact to demonstrate the impact of local partners work and raise the profile of the Black Country & its assets.
You will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in leading and delivering high impact multi-channel communications & campaigns.
We are looking for someone who has an open & engaging style, who will be an effective collaborator and able to share information openly & proactively, demonstrating a passion for the role being physically active can play in improving peoples lives.
The role will be based out of our offices in Halesowen operating on a hybrid basis with some home-based working incorporated.
