Active Lives Survey – Children and Young People; 2021-2022

Description

This dataset, produced by Sport England, was collected for the academic year 2021/2022.

There are 3 key measures:

  • Active (60 minutes or more every day)
  • Fairly active (an average of 30-59 minutes a day)
  • Less active (less than an average of 30 minutes a day)

Each term, a number of schools are randomly selected to take part in the survey, with the aim of getting 100,000 children and young people in Years 1 to 11 to complete it each academic year. Active Partnerships are enlisted to encourage selected schools to take part.
