Contract Opportunity For Black Country in Motion Programme

The Black Country Consortium Ltd is looking to contract a Black Country based organisation to recruit and employ 2 dedicated full time "Black Country in Motion Activators” for the Black Country in Motion programme, that has recently secured 3 years funding from Sport England’s Get Healthy, Get into Sport programme.

The successful organisation will have expertise in working in and supporting communities and individuals within the Black Country to develop and must have an understanding of the sports sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for a local organisation to be involved in a multi stakeholder nationally recognised pilot programme that merges community development, skill acquisition & capacity building, sports development and academic research to further develop the evidence base for sport.

The contents of the specification relate specifically to the recruitment and employment of the Activators who will be employed to deliver this community asset based approach to sports development, against a predetermined project plan in 8 health sport hubs, to meet identified outputs and outcomes. BCC Ltd will remain the Programme lead and accountable body for the delivery of the programme, against the project plan.

To receive a copy of the specification please contact Suzanne Gardner or call 01384 471120.

An Electronic copy of your proposal should be received at the following address by noon on the 16th July 2013 Suzanne_gardner@blackcountryconsortium.co.uk

Late tenders will not be accepted.
