Festive Greetings

As we enter the festive break, I would like to say a huge thank you to all our strategic partners and community organisations for your support in helping us to develop and deliver the opportunities for local people to be more physically active in 2024.

Since Active Black Country marked its first anniversary as an independent organisation in May, our joint efforts to tackle the inequalities that prevent local people from moving more and being active have gathered momentum.

We look forward to strengthening our partnerships and further collaboration in 2025 in our mission to see a future Black Country where all ages, abilities and backgrounds are able to be active, move more and play sport.

Our offices will close on 24 December and reopen on 2 January 2025.

We wish you a peaceful and relaxing festive break.

Ian Carey, CEO of Active Black Country
