New round of Sportivate funding now open!

The Black Country BeActive Partnership is proud to announce that the latest round of Sportivate funding is now open!

This 11th round of funding commenced on the 18th July and will close on the 12th August 2016 at 5pm. Applications can be submitted for projects due to commence delivery from September 2016 and finish before March 2017.

Are you eligible?

We welcome applications from all community partners who are seeking to engage with inactive people aged 11-25 in sport and physcial activity (inactivity is classed as 0-3 days of physical activity in the last 28 days)

Sportivate is a national programme designed to engage inactive individuals in 6-8 weeks of sport and physical activity. This round of funding will see Sportivate focus its priority on engaging with those currently classed as inactive who do not currently take part in regular sport and physical activity.

Within those inactive communities, there will be a specific focus on individuals from the following demographics

  • Female focused
  • BME ethnicity
  • 19-25 year olds
  • Disability

 

Applications can apply for grants of up to £3000 however each project must be able to demonstrate value for money. Please see our updated guidance along with a Sport England Insight pack designed to help deliver's with the design of their projects.
