The Black Country Sector Skills Action Plan identified a number of recommendations that included how we can utilise a range of CPD from outside the sector that can equip the existing workforce with the necessary training to instigate meaningful behaviour change across inactive participants . This is a key objective of the new Sport England strategy and the Coaching Plan for England.

The film below highlights the series of Sport for Confidence workshops that we recently ran as a pilot in response to the training need identified through the Sector Skills Plan consultation. The film outlines its objective and features some of the attendees.
