Primary School Premium updated with information and resources released today for local schools:

Amended vision and objectives

VISION: All pupils leaving primary school physically literate and with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them for a healthy lifestyle and lifelong participation in physical activity and sport.

·         the profile of PE and sport being raised across the school as a tool for whole school improvement

·         increased confidence, knowledge and skills of all staff in teaching PE and sport

·         broader experience of a range of sports and activities offered to all pupils

·         increased participation in competitive sport

New Coaching in Primary Schools Self-Review Tool - The National Partners have today released a new self-review tool for effective and sustainable use of coaches.  A PDF copy of the latest guidance is available here.

Sports Coach UK Portal Updated - The Sports Coach UK ‘Coaching in Schools’ portal has been updated and launched today.  Click here to take a look.

Department for Education videos in effective use of the premium - DfE have released three videos today around the effective use of the premium. They have been filmed in primary schools nominated by the national partners.
